Alphabet Books

Since starting secondary school in September, the Mrs Laudinat’s Year 7 pupils have been preparing to take part in a Spelling Bee Contest. This is a competition in which you have to spell (often difficult) words out loud in front of a jury. So, in order to participate in a Spelling Bee, of course you need to know how to say each letter of the word to be spelt ! With this in mind, Mrs Laudinat’s pupils have all prepared an alphabet poster rather like P.D. Eastman’s Alphabet Book.

Depuis l’entrée au collège en septembre, les élèves de 6ème de Mme Laudinat se sont préparé à participer à un Spelling Bee. Il s’agit d’un concours où l’on doit épeler des mots (souvent difficiles) à haute voix devant un jury. Donc, pour participer à un concours d’orthographe, il faut bien sûr savoir comment dire chaque lettre du mot à épeler ! C’est dans cet esprit que les élèves de Mme Laudinat ont tous préparé une affiche abécédaire, un peu à la manière du Alphabet Book de P.D. Eastman. Voici leur travail....
